So far, I don't see anyone suggesting an IMAP-based solution. Good! Because that's what we interviewed at the last YC for. What's cool about that is then you can use any client, browser, email provider, whatever. Time for a plug - http://s

AppStores, in San Francisco, right by Union Square, need a marketing and community management intern, but you can make the roll as developery as you want. A developer evangelist would be hot. We're a white label application store platform.

That screenshot makes it look like there's no text folding arrows for Sublime, is that true? I wouldn't even try it out if it's missing that feature because I use it in Textmate dozens of times a day.

It's probably not an intentional ripoff but more like an intellectual cul-de-sac - following certain typographic rules to their logical conclusion leads to the same design. The designer Garrett Dimon had a similar design for a long time (an

I agree that we shouldn't turn this into a sports flame thread, so let's just compromise and say that it's a team-based sport and that individual talent matters, not one or the other (unlike the OP). After all, the same argument about sup

Your definition of design includes style, since style can (and often is) a solution to a problem as well. Not everything is wireframes and usability, and this is coming from someone who's first book on the job was Jakob Nielsen's. Ever read

Everyone has to start somewhere. And unfortunately a lot of design lists end up making the topic more unapproachable than it has to be, considering there are some fundamental skills that everyone can build on.
