Sure, and of course double (or more!) albums were/are a thing. There was even a limited effort at players that could automatically drop a second album on top of a first when a side finished, then start playing the second record, and so

1) Yeah, it's fiction. 2) It's written a little "higher" than modern popular young-adult-influenced fiction, mostly in that it sets up tension where the reader shouldn't know what's going on, then resolves it

I'm only about 20% in but if anybody ever asks me "what is your day-to-day internal experience of ordinary life like?" I'm just going to point them to this. [EDIT] Still not done but this is just getting more true the fa

Yep, exactly, you want a united front to make it effective, especially when you're dealing with an economy as large as China's. That's why it'd be nice if we were focusing mainly on that, and not also on weird low-value

Reducing trade with China (and sure, tariffs work for that purpose, why not?) is one of the only things I agree with as far as policies Trump has actually taken action on (both terms). ... I think it'd be more effective and less painfu

It depends on the ORM. I've definitely seen a couple (popular, even) where it's worse than nothing at all, if you're comfortable in SQL. But most of them I'd agree, they're handy. I think some of the blanket "j

ORMs are great. They afford abundant opportunities to look like a hero by swooping into a project and cutting a page load of forty seconds to under one second.

I had to use neo4j on a project some years ago and hated it (it didn’t help that the client forced its use for really dumb and bad reasons, wasting tons of time in the process) but Cypher is great. Only thing about it I liked. It’s very goo

I tried Kodi a bunch of times. Nobody else in my house would/could use it. Half the time I’d end up stuck in some weird modal menu I couldn’t get out of, so I can hardly blame them. Its ui is really weird. Jellyfin fixed that. Other pe
