And more often than not `xrange` is what one needs, not `range`. (Not relevant with Py3k though, but everyone is still in 2.x-verse.)

Why not build it in pure AS3 instead of a .fla? This means people who don't have access to the Flash IDE or Flex Builder can't do diddly squat with it. Pure AS3 would enable use of the free Flex SDK instead.

Yeah... taking a look at "en.svg" -- <image width="200" height="408" image-rendering="optimizeSpeed" ... So instead of letting the browser even attempt to do a good job at upscaling, the author is forcing it to not do that.
