Afaik, tar files do not contain a central directory, so finding a certain file in a tar file requires skimming through the entire archive.

It's most likely a false positive. The packers etc., the demoscene uses employ the same tricks as malware does and thus trigger heuristics in AV software.

AFAIU it's only locked for concurrent writes, so a largely read-only workload should be okay.

Or, you know, that could just be a humorous reference to the TV series, while this is a real implementation.

I don't really see the problem. After all, you just install those deps once in your Dockerfile, right? ;)

FWIW, macOS changes a window's DPI mode when the cursor that is moving the window passes over from to one screen to another. Just tried that out. :D

Curious: why'd you feel the need to write your own? https://cookieconsent.insites.com/demos/ is nice and light.

ASIO isn't always exclusive usage. My Focusrite Scarlett 2i2's own ASIO driver can run alongside other audio just fine.

I thought I'd try and measure this at some resolution (since my phone can capture at 120 FPS, I should be able to see 8 millisecond increments in a video). Stepping frame by frame through the video I took ( https://youtu.be&#

Sure, it's possible, if you're willing to blanket block all sorts of elastic IP ranges such as all of AWS.

I suppose it's like with regular file systems -- don't have too many files in a directory. In your use case, consider `/path/to/big-dir/AA/AABB/AABBCC` or similar?

I actually use Foobar2000 mostly in "All Music" mode, too -- and now that you mention it, I think I got the habit from Winamp. :)

I'd assume they knew the lens and hard drive boxes were internally padded. That's still no excuse for a large unpadded box where things can jostle around.

You can make `models` a package, where `models/__init__.py` just imports models from the package's modules (`models/thingamabobs.py` and ` from .thingamabobs import Thingamabob`). Also, you shouldn't need to worry about

Another option, should you need better compression than zip with the same damage tolerance, is xz files in an uncompressed tar.

Yep. I recently had to get pdftk running on an old Centos-or-whatever system, and that ended up being a big fat no-go, so I reimplemented the functionality we needed from pdftk (filling forms) with just Java: https://github.com&#
