Yep, that's a fair point. We'll be building interactive communities as well. We expect our community to have many well-informed investors, and therefore expect the conversation to be value-add to everybody using Feather.

For institutions, Bloomberg has depth of relationships and frankly, maintaining the status quo tends to be low-risk, and therefore preferred, for management. For retail traders, independent investment managers, etc., it makes no sense to pa

Thank you! We get a lot of data directly from the SEC and international regulators, which of course is very reliable. We'll also have a data validation team as we grow -- our goal is to have 100 percent accurate data, 100 percent of th

Hi! I’m looking for a technical person to work with me on an early stage startup. I’m building a system which invests startups' cash reserves in safe, highly liquid money market funds which yield over two percent annual interest, allow

Hi, I’m working on building a banking related startup. We’re mostly working on UI design and regulatory compliance right now and will start on actually building the prototype very soon, but I’d love to talk more about it. Probably not video

Agreed. This was what I was thinking too. I’m curious, how many businesses actually put their money in a money market fund as opposed to a checking or savings account?

That’s very true. Thanks for the great input! Do you think it would be better for businesses to invest in money market funds or other reputable bonds then?

That’s a great point. Do you think a platform where businesses are explicitly asked to declare other outstanding loans could reduce this problem, at least enough to reduce risk for online lenders to a more comfortable level?

Do you think you would benefit from having a low fee/interest line of credit available where you could get funds if necessary when clients don’t pay/pay late?

The bank would be paid interest on the loan. By VC I was just trying to put it in analogous terms. Basically, rather than judging whether the loan will be paid off based on the company’s past income/assets/etc the lender tries to

Wow, that sounds like a great deal! Was there any time when you felt the need for credit and it was not available from suppliers/vendors?

Just out of curiosity, what options are there for businesses just starting out with little assets to offer as collateral? Are there banks taking a sort of “venture style” approach to opening lines of credit where they offer them to business

Thanks for replying! I was wondering if you used the line of credit mainly to cover cash flow needs or to fund business growth?

True. I was originally mostly asking about revolving lines of credit to cover cash flow needs so maybe in the $10k range for early stage ventures. But I’m open to hearing from people who need more or less. I just want to get as much input a

Thanks for responding! For such lines of credit, did you have to demonstrate your business’s viability in the past? And if so, how long of a track record did you have to show? Also, would you factor accounts receivable if interest rates wer
