Usually diversity requirements don't come with lower competence requirements. They usually require people to be competent and then also equal opportunity. Or are you suggesting that all non-white non-male people are incompetent?

As an expert you can instruct the llm what to generate, so you’d get what you would write by hand, just faster.

Maybe it’s just the fact that many models are trained by americans? I’ve seen great improvements in answers by asking it to “tone it down, answer like you’re British”.

Now imagine that tool in the hands of someone who knows how to build it the right way, and can instruct the LLM to generate the code in the right way. You get what you would have created yourself, but just much faster.

Isn't this the same problem as working on any large project you have no experience with? It takes time to understand the code base, but you can learn it by studying the source code. And LLMs can help you understand the code base, e.g.

I have a background in coding (including assembly), worked on UX projects, as a technical architect, a product owner, and now a product manager in the last 30 years, so yes.

Far from mindless, just at a different abstraction level. What should the software do, what capabilities and features, how to slice it into small increments (product management work)? What user journeys, what should the screens look like (U

Many of the things that LLMs will output can be validated in a feedback loop, e.g., programming. It's easy to validate the generated code with a compiler, unit tests, etc. LLMs will excel in processes that can provide a validating feed

I think of LLMs like brains or CPUs. They're the core that does the processing, but needs to be embedded in a bigger system to be useful. Even if LLMs plateau, there will be a lot of development and improvement in the systems that use

It reinspired me, the things that i can now pull off with AI would have died a slow death previously. I would have needed to do so much learning, research, debug, i would not have had the patience to complete it. Now i can finally build tho

Actually, I already prefer AI to static training materials these days. But instead of looking for a static training material, I treated it like a coach. Recently I had to learn SPARQL. What I did is I created an MCP server to connect it to

AI is just a tool, like most other technologies, it can be used for good and bad. Where are you going to draw the line? Only if it effects you, or maybe we should go back to using coal for everything, so the mineworkers have their old life

My son recently told me his teacher used him as an example for the class as someone who wrote a good piece himself. Teacher accused all the other students of using AI. He also told me that he had in fact used AI, but asked AI multiple times

Completely disagree, what i see agentic coding agents do in combination with LLMs is seriously mind-blowing. I don't care how much knowledge is compressed into an LLM. What is way more interesting is what it does when it misses some kn

Problem is that individuals often know what is right, but can't do the right thing because society as a whole is not collaborating. In a few years we will all be blamed for not taking action when it was clear climate change was going t
