Yes, yes. How did I forget this one? Thanks for calling it out. Wish we had more MS theses today that at least attempted something as ambitious as this one, instead of just checking a box :(

I have been waiting for an AI powered tutor to teach my ~10 yr old coding and writing, so this just made my day. Sal Khan and his team are incredible and I can't wait to start trying out Khan Amigo.

I posted this question without an opinion because I have a strong bias that it doesn’t matter when you start coding in your youth. I had no access to computing until I was in 11th grade. I feel that it helped me build better mental models b

Nah... Mendable seems to be searching in documentation. This idea is to extract an execution model of every component in your system from the logs of that component. We can think of the prediction step as a complete separate machine model f

I am not advocating to remove the foundations. My stance is that it shouldn’t be the first exposure to programming. I am all for covering foundations in later courses.

I agree that languages close to hardware are the wrong starting point to introduce a newbie to programming. And I see a change happening already—e.g. Stanford changing the introductory programming course to JavaScript in 2017: https:/

Great to see Amazon opening and office in Iasi. I had my Frontend team there in my past life and it was top tier talent. Would strongly recommend this little known jewel to anyone who is considering an offshore office. Not as cheap as some

Gotcha! That makes sense. I would recommend looking at LangChain though, as it does a good job at modeling multi-stage learning / inference environments.

I believe AWS struck the right balance to "Think Big" and not worry about minutiae at the beginning, while tightening the belt and ensuring costs are not out of control at later stages. One of my teams was given the charter to map

Don't think I quite follow. Is the new program (operating on the output of the earlier program) supposed to reason about why you are seeing the result that you are seeing? Or is it doing more post processing to make the earlier output

Step in the right direction, but guidance alone won’t cut it. We need stricter enforcement of these guidelines as well. Not sure if that’s the VC’s job though.
