Heh. So, we did a similar two loan structure back in 2004. It got us into the house, but paying both loans at once was stressful for several years until the family income finally caught up enough to provide a comfortable margin of safety.

Yes. I've seen its tides in person. It's almost unreal. Boats go from sitting on their sides on dry land to floating in 3+m of water and back every tidal cycle.

What tools can do the opposite? I have a refurb Thinkpad X1 Carbon, running Deb 11 w/ i3, I use for creative writing (vim/markdown/pandoc). I'd like the battery to last as long as possible.
