You may have to use counts from map reduce. I'm not super familiar with the current state of MongoDB. http://mongoid.org/en/mongoid/docs/querying.html#aggregation... Hopefully someone else can speak to this.

Minimum customization right now, but I'm open to add more options if specific ones are in high demand.

Thanks! I started out heavy on the Ruby side but moved most logic to the JS to make AJAX charts dead simple to implement. (render :json => chart_data)

Be sure you include the <script> tag for Google Charts or Highcharts before you include chartkick.js.

Like others have said, it sounds like you may be depressed. Untreated depression can lead to serious problems. Please talk to your doctor.

We use Firebase ( https://www.firebase.com/ ) for real-time cart updates. It's super fast and pretty easy to setup.

Yes, this assumes users are aware of the swipe-to-delete paradigm. I would still recommend adding a delete option in a more obvious place for each item.

Right now, it's implemented just like the iOS mail app. Your suggestion sounds more intuitive though. I'm curious to hear if others feel the same way.
