I adore Orgzly on mobile but it's a shame there's no way to have their GUI on desktop. It's a lot more intuitive than Emacs.

If you enable the First-Party Isolation preference in about:config then this is more effective site isolation and is automatic for all sites.

Firefox doesn't force you to update however. I just update & restart it simultaneously whenever I want.

Baby steps. Swapping for a Firefox and LibrrOffice (which also has a web version) is a big improvement in privacy already. By having this all-or-nothing mindset people don't ever take the first steps towards taking privacy seriously.

Everyone who cares about privacy uses Firefox browser for other reasons already so browser was a poor example. There's also Wayland as a replacement for X11, but granted not all applications support it.

I love the look of this. Just make it so it's easy to make full offline backups and I'll be happy to leave hosting and server maintenance to you.

RE 3: Kernel developers are diametrically opposed to this for good reason. People like the fact that they can install Linux on any old computer and it'll "just work". Linux supporting a stable in-kernel ABI means less drivers

Does it matter what he says his intent was? He can paint whatever story he likes in interviews, but nobody would appreciate a random person going right in their face and beating a drum, especially a young kid. You can even see him flinching

This has been debunked thoroughly. That guy went up to the kids and started beating his drum right in their faces to intimidate them and somehow the media painted the kids as the harasser.

You're leaving out the fact that this eliminates the security mess that is the current DNS system which is so easily compromised by hacker groups and state actors. Blockchain is the perfect protocol for DNS since it's totally tran
