Could Calibre (or any other software) generate an OPDS feed? I know that at least KOReader has support for OPDS[0], maybe vanilla Kindle firmware has it too. That would let you forget the part of connecting your device to a PC. [0] KOReader

You could take a look at the Multimachine, an open source combined lathe, mill and drill press from the early 00s web forums. I first saw it mentioned in the Open Source Ecology project ~10 years ago. https://opensourcemachine.or

I bought a G42 (hawao) last year, I saw it on offer, I checked and it had been recently added to the roster, less than a month before. I had to wait a couple of days before Lenovo let me unlock the bootloader, not sure if that's becaus

Me too! And for ~half the price of the phone in TFA[0] you can get a Moto G32/42/52, which can run LineageOS officially since last year. [0] how on earth is 300 USD considered "budget" for a cellphone?

So, a regular Tuesday in Argentina. You grow insensitized to it through the years. Last time I got surprised (and laughed hard at the evil genius) was when last administration kept the conversion rate artificially low, but created a tax for

Thank you! I missed the show HN on your project, but it looks fantastic (and I like its promotion through HN comments for long-ish form videos, doesn't feel spammy, is helpful and very clear to understand what it does).
