Two bloggers, a copywriter and three PR people? Imagine how much could've been done if those six had been replaced with programmers and/or designers!

Ahh, finally. And wow, yes. Very nice! A few suggestions: It'd be nice if I could, y'know.. collapse the sidebar.

Can someone actually explain this for me? I just.. don't think I get it. What do you, well.. do?

Logging, in such a case, is usually done locally, not remotely. You're still not making much sense here, axod.

Yes, but to counterpoint that.. they don't store anything, anyway. They're simply protocols, a network and a login system.

Interesting. You can easily redirect-loop too. -> http://tinydb.org/py Also, you can create entries with nothing, just by hitting _write. Needs more work, really.

Also, as a further point. If you're going to the trouble of going to a site, copy-pasting all these into a form, clicking a button, then emailing that.. wouldn't you save more time, really, just emailing the list?

I have to disagree with many of these points. For a lot of people I know, twitter's purpose is manifold. For some, it's for pushing out ideas and commentary on their work and the occasional bit of inter-office banter for all to see. And for

I also got a no, but that's okay. I don't think the infrastructure is in place for mine yet, anyway. Maybe in a little while! :D

I'm tempted to try and create something now, over this. Infact, I even have my own, very special Campfire-inspired design, which is over at http://www.basementcoder.com/ravings/12 But then, maybe people might say mean things about ME too.

That already makes me incredibly suspicious of Joyent. I'm.. not sure I will ever use them. I mean, what're they gonna DO with all that data?

Same. And I don't even have a fully-stocked cabinet, yet. Need to hit up the japanese and indian supermarkets. And any others that I can find. I prefer to shop at places like that than places with an 'international' section. You get better

I tend not to make meals that quickly, as for me, cooking is one of the things I do to relax and think. :) And I usually end up spending near to an hour in the kitchen, most nights :D

I'm not sure this would actually affect my rails app, because we have a seperate and distinct authentication process on accounts (which helps!). Users register and the information is written into a temporary table. Then user data is copied

I think I like this service. I prefer IRC more, simply because of how I can make IRC look. (I like my chat clients plain and simple). But I will definately use it.

I'd echo what martianpenguin said. Open it up to a few people (People from news.yc would be a good choice) who can both test it out, and offer constructive criticism on flaws, bugs, whathaveyou. And then, you can work towards an alpha/beta
