You certainly shouldn't share your salary, much less provide a W2, for most positions. However, not only is it not illegal to ask for a W2, for most sales positions it is the norm. The reason is that sales people make most of their mon

"This is significantly better than AH which has much greater single-sector risk" Are you saying a16z will make less than 17.2% per year in average returns on the years 2009-2015? Want to bet?

The thing you are missing is that it's really really hard to find the breakout startups. Even the top tier VCs don't know for certain whether a specific investment will be the breakout in their portfolio. They are betting that 1 o

Alright! Hope to see you at alumni demo day. I think your company will be better off if you stay in the bay area instead of returning to Tennessee. I am from Atlanta, started my company there, and miss it a lot, so I do identify with your f

That $0.56 number includes depreciation. There are other costs like insurance which are non-trivial. Initially at least, it's not going to be much less.

Google is the only company with a potential edge over Uber right now. The point in time at which self-driving cars are usable by the the public is the only visible inflection point where Uber's hegemony is truly threatened. (edit) The

Hey, you have an interesting product. Curious why you priced it per vehicle. I am a potential user, but the per vehicle pricing makes it incredibly expensive for us to even consider it. What kind of customers do you have right now?
