So how do you handle roaming in your situation? Do you use different SSIDs between APs? Currently I have the same SSID shared between the two Asus routers (one configured as AP only).

Any good setup guides? One of the things I was hoping for was a good central management system, plus good roaming and handoff. I currently have two DD-WRT flashed ASUS routers, and having a hell of a time with handoff when going from one fl

Check out Ubiquiti gear. I've been wanting to upgrade to their Unifi line, but haven't convinced the spouse that I need the money when it "works" to her. The random drop-outs don't bug you when you aren't const

One thing to consider is this NES Classic Edition appears to be an emulator. It consists of an ARM processor and some flash memory, so it's not going to get you that cycle accurate emulation any better than the current leading emulator

I've talked to a fair number of former drivers for Lyft/Uber in the Austin TX area. General feeling I've gotten from them is that Lyft was less shitty than Uber, but still not great.

So Lyft and Uber recently threw a tantrum and fled Austin TX when a vote on legislature regarding TNCs didn't go their way. A few new local companies have popped up to fill the hole in the market, and many have attracted drivers who we

I may have skipped over the awesome UX. More of the stable and paid dev work. I'll agree most UX on Linux isn't great. But GUI is such a pain in the ass that most people really don't want to work on it. Plus, plenty of Linux

I would totally pay 1-2k upfront (assuming I owned the home or was planing to stay at least 5 years) if I "owned" the fiber and could choose my own ISP. At that level of competition, it could easily drive the prices down into the

Yep. I'm in love with Vundle. Been using it for years, and it's part of my dotfiles repo. One of my first steps on a new system is installing git and vim-nox, cloning my dotfiles, and running BundleInstall.
