OP's throwaway account is named " techmanager12345", and in the comments says, "Ouch! Sorry to hear that the world is tough there! I have never heard from anyone in media, I tend to only know about engineering/tech type jobs."

This article came at an excellent time: I've recently been setting up test deployments of both Puppet and Chef for potential HPC use, and this article confirms a lot of my impressions. In particular, that Puppet has much better documentati

The company I work for, R Systems ( http://www.rsystemsinc.com/ ), basically does this. We own and admin several medium-sized compute clusters (200-500 node clusters) which are rented out to customers who need a lot of compute on a temporar

It's not exactly the same system, but... ICC (Supermicro) 1042G-T with 48 cores (4x 12-core Opteron 6174, 2.2 GHz), 128 GB RAM, 2x 3TB SATA disk and 40 Gb/s QDR Infiniband, $10.6k. Subtract $300 if you'd rather have 10GbE instead of the IB.
