They are probably "brick slips" IE thin cosmetic bricks, not full bricks. Hmm looks from that shot that the door doesn't open; I was wondering about that.

Curved glass is easier in the historical method, because flat glass was made by blowing a large bottle and flattening a piece of it against something before it set (which is why you could only get small flat panes). So to get a curve you&#x

This is a library, so I'm not sure listing it makes sense - you'd want to list apps using it, which I guess is just the guardian app so far. Perhaps they will comment on whether their releases can be found outside the play store.

I'm not saying your main point is wrong, but there is a lot of legalistic quibbling over things like Lent. For example, various animals are classified locally as "fish" for Lenten purposes, including the Beaver (in Canada) th

Ideally a backup system should be implementable in such a way that no credential on the machines being backed up, enable the deletion or modification of existing backups. That's so that if your machines are hacked a) the backups can&#x

That one is kind of amazing - I wonder if it was intended as a self-parody of the patent system? But in general yes I agree.

Legally it's supposed to matter, yes. Non-novel or obvious ideas are according to the law not eligible to be patented. In practice the mechanism to decide both of these is broken.

Improvement value is commonly estimated, eg by insurance companies. Eg, you insure your building for 100k even though the market price was 300k, because it would only take 100k to rebuild it. So you then know that the 'unimproved'
