Fair point. Here is some data on the fraction of caloric intake: * During August 2021–August 2023, the mean percentage of total calories consumed from ultra-processed foods among those age 1 year and older was 55.0%. * Youth ages 1–18 year

But how do you define, or indeed assess, novelty? It's not that difficult to take an existing mature codebase and morph it such that it looks quite different but is functionally unchanged. This is a very different task than building so

To clear up potential confusion, you seem to be talking about the Gemini app ( https://gemini.google.com ), the chat app formerly known as Bard. The article is about AI Overviews, a feature of Google Search (the LLM-generated box

If one goal is to reduce the variance of output, couldn't this be done by controlling the decoding temperature? Another related technique is constrained decoding, whether the LLM sampler only considers tokens allowed by a certain forma

I think the GP's point is that this requires a 12V-capable USB power supply. I have converted pretty much everything I have to USB-C, from toothbrushes to old laptops, and am very happy with the results. My solution is to only own hig

Not the GP, but I have a TCL 65C845. I've removed all the crap from it and installed a third-party launcher. I LOVE the result, both in terms of picture quality and usability. The UI is clean, snappy, functional and there's zer

In investment banking, VP is not a senior title (speaking from personal experience :)). The exact level hierarchy varies from bank to bank, but typically runs something like Analyst - Associate - (Associate VP) - VP - Director/Executiv

I just finished the audiobook. Didn't have any particular expectations but couldn't put it down (so to speak). The audiobook is narrated by the author, which adds an extra dimension to the story. Would highly recommend.

Some possibilities that come to mind: 1. not care about seam placement; or 2. place seams manually in the slicer; or 3. add a tiny V-shaped notch specifically for the slicer to put the seam there.
