Tangential, who will be severely slowed down if you dont have models costing 15 USD/million tokens (Claude Opus), 3$/MT (Claude Sonnet) and had to switch to V3 (0.3$/MT) or cheaper ones?

Tangential, Is there any AI benchmark on actual context size, ie if it craps out at 30000 tokens when its supposed to handle a million tokens?

Amateur. Use Flashget or Netants which download the file in 8 simultaneous chunks. I used to cheer the threads on last legs of a whopping 5m download. I hated servers which dont allow resume or even report file size.

I paid for 5$ of credits from OpenRouter and looked up their hosted models. I installed Aider and run it in watch mode in my project. I then create comments with instructions at various files (like #refer this ai) and add ! to last command

Looks like most of them are stray dog attacks. There was an Indian operation where 25% of dogs rounded up had rabies, and vaccines fail due to improper storage.

Everything reinforces my choice of Aider+Openrouter+code. I use models 20x cheaper than Sonnet, completely pay as you go, nobody is playing games with models, their LLM bills and my context to turn a profit. I generate Python scripts with M

I used Clojure and it has same goals as bigger-grammar languages, like overloaded function definitions, casting/type-hinting, method calls etc, it just achieves them in a clunkier way.

I used to auto bold with Solr with <b> tags in 2011. In hindsight, I should have whitelisted only <b> tags for user inputs, resumes in this case. Rambling on, Solr is an Apache product, does tandem releases with Apache Lucene, b

I once tried Spiral Linux, light fork of Sid with bundled Snapper stack. Switched to a giant-userbase distro, Fedora, mostly because Plasma was bad with 5k screens. Are there mainstream distros with easy rollback?

5k screens over DP are two screens in a trenchcoat. I saw this abstraction broken with menubar (only on half the screen), blue light filter (have to program both harlves), screen placement (have to drag both halves into place). FreeDesktop

The underlying models are apparently profitable. Inference costs are in a exponential fall that makes Gordon Moore faint. OpenRouter shows Anthropic, AWS, Google host Claude at same rates, apparently nobody is price dumping. That said, code

Been wondering if dino juice-burning motorsports have been improving cars/road transportation much. AMG (YASA owner) and Koenigsegg are revolutionary in reducing demand for rare earths and enabling electric planes.

IME as a dev, I got value from Aider using AI as a commodity to edit code. The sparkly buttons in AWS Cloudwatch log queries, Mongo Compass desktop app and other apps with AI features are hit or miss so far.
