I just registered a domain for 10 years (the maximum allowed) and was wondering how likely I was to remember to renew. Auto-pay probably wouldn't work with credit card numbers changing. I might still be using the same email or at least

I did this with the multiply blend mode. I did it in a really convoluted way to take a single color image, split it into CMYK channels, and then overlay the transparencies, in html+css. http://deepf.art/cmyk.html

Maybe it's something related. When I ask ChatGPT technical questions I get very confident answers that are often completely wrong. But setting aside the confidence aspect, I notice ChatGPT responses can be vague and widely applicable.

I suspect the issue is that the reflective materials are weak. That is, a heat shield would survive longer against a laser than a mirror.

It's mentioned in this paragraph: "When we were developing this technology in earnest for missile defense 15 years ago, there were many theories about how it could be defeated. People thought that mirrored surfaces might just refl

What is the current situation with sleep states? I've been seeing lots of conversations the last two years and I just don't have a big level picture of why it's such an issue now. I only use S4 (hibernate) because I can ignor

Yes, I had the same experience as you and had to not just read but play around with the MDN docs example to get it. I still think the functional formatting is confusing. It makes sense, the pattern applies to every "A*n + B"th ind

Might as well ask here: Why does DDG change my search results when I use the Back button, and how can I get it to stop. When I use DDG if I do a search, click on a link to open it in the same tab, then click back to the search results I not

Yes I should, but I didn't. I used to get emails from them: 2013-08-11 "Your Google Voice number --- has expired", 2021-04-11 "Your Google Voice number --- will expire in 30 days", 2021-11-06 "Your Google Voice

I hate it too, it stretches the cute "Web 2.0" analogy (used to summarize the dramatic changes the web would undergo) much too far. I understand the appeal in co-opting "Web 3.0" -- every movement needs a catchy name --
