So my take on this is that the future is Ceph and you would do better running single node ceph than ZFS or BTRFS.

It quite literally is not an encoder - title should be something like "how to use libav to convert H264 to H265" - libav is the only thing doing encoding here.

The curriculum is not part of the community - and either the curriculum dictates morals or it does not. If it does I have a problem with it, if it does not I don't. I doubt the person I was responding with was referencing anything but
