I think if you e.g. added "Disclaimer: this is super left-wing biased" (or equivalently "Disclaimer: this is super right-wing biased") to the top of a heavily biased article, you are not appreciably combating bias.

I believe that your example of "what language your parents natively speak" is incorrect. Some ways of measuring heritability would have trouble detecting this as environmental, but that is considered a deficiency in those measures

The only color photo of a ball in that link that I saw was #32 which is from 1978, which would support the idea that Wimbledon did not switch in 1972.

This is also an easy way to detect RNGs that are not truncated (i.e. return the entire state (or any 1-to-1 permutation of their entire state): https://www.pcg-random.org/posts/birthday-test.html Example: Any RNG with

Assuming the heating element has a positive temperature coefficient (which seems likely), there will be inrush current greater than the operating current. As an extreme example, a tungsten filament in a lightbulb would rise to 1500C (2700F)

A 4U case is basically just a midsized tower with rack ears (or rails). A 1U case runs the gamut in noise from vacuum to jet-engine.

After trying Duolingo a bit myself and seeing my family members try it, I've become convinced that Duolingo is worse than doing nothing, because it does a much better job of convincing you that you're learning than it does actuall

Be aware that Xteink is locking down devices sold for the Chinese market (which includes those being sold on e.g. Taobao). If you want to run crosspoint, you should probably order your reader direct from Xteink. https://liliput

Using an asset as debt-collateral triggering gains being realized would be good too. As would unifying the income and capital gains tax. I disagree with TFA's idea that a wealth tax is the best solution. IMO wealth is easier to hid

Anytime one of those "you can eat cuisine from one region of the world for the rest of your life" memes comes up, I'm baffled that anybody would fail to pick the region that contains both South and Southeast Asia.

Do you know what kind of bearings that has? I must also mention that I'm happy to see the UHK has a ball-retention ring; this used to be normal for trackballs but companies moved away for it for some reason.

The port that was standardized on for PC joysticks was the dumbest possible one: The joystick itself just had 1 potentiometer per axis, wired directly to the port. The port had no A/D, no timer, and no interrupt. Instead there was a

Conflict is required, just not necessarily before the romance, or even involving the romance. There's definitely a sub-genre of a low-conflict meet-cute followed by conflict later on. FWIW I've seen none of the movies you list.

That's because a movie like that would be boring (at least if it took up more than a minimal amount of screen-time). Interesting stories require some form of conflict, and for movies that focus on romance, the conflict will be interpe

300 miles between charges if you are limited to a 30 minute charge, but semis probably refill much more often than every 1500 miles, particularly since they are required to stop every so often anyways.

A 30 minute charge means each charger can service a maximum of 48 tractors per day, and realistically probably less than that. I wonder how many trucks fill at a typical diesel filling station per day.
