Entirely off-topic, but that thread title sounds like the best metal album ever.

The counter to that is that I understand what services and goods are essential to me better than the government does (or anyone that isn't me, for that matter). If the goal is to do the most good with the least waste, basic income is p

This is fascinating. What do deaf people normally do in lieu of alarm clocks?

I have only ever heard basic income proposed as the former implementation, never the latter.

I live in a fairly low-cost area(a mid-sized town in the coastal southeast). $10/hr would be a stretch.

I'm of a similar opinion. My 'work' playlist is almost exclusively trance music and black metal. Both are repetitive and don't demand your attention, great for concentration.

I've only seen 1 legitimate use for a Keurig machine. My company's office used to be on the 9th floor of a very old building (built in 1914). The plumbing is subpar and our office had no sink, despite being otherwise very nice. Ha

I'm a web developer. Occasionally I'll get a client who can't be talked out of video/audio that autoplays. I think I understand that feeling.

That's hardly a 1-to-1 comparison. For starters there are a number of large, legitimate businesses that make their money selling MtG cards on the secondary market. Secondly, didn't the folks at mtgox just use the domain name becau

I agree with most of your post, but I disagree with the salute-the-troops attitude. Were the parent from any profession other than the military, no one would take any issue with downvoting his tirade. If you really want to 'support the
