One way we use it is for shared team secrets (e.g. API tokens) in infrastructure scripts. https://github.com/plyint/encpass.sh/blob/master/extensions/...

Thanks for sharing. I've been running the same modprobe commands, but manually using a bash alias. I'm going to use your systemd script going forward.

What are some of examples of multi-agent scenarios they struggle with? Do you think there are paths to autonomous driving where we add infrastructure or laws to reduce the universe of these scenarios that would have to be dealt with? For

Why does TFP always grow? Is the fundamental reasoning that new technologies and efficiency improvements in existing technologies will always occur over time and therefore guarantees this growth?

I was trying to stay in context with how you originally phrased your response of.. "There is no reason to believe BTC will not crash that's more solid than people smiling knowingly and saying "it can't, it's th

You can buy BTC using USD via exchanges, you can buy BTC futures, you can buy funds that contain BTC along with a mix of other assets. This is what I mean by the traditional economy, NOT you can go down to your neighborhood grocery store a

A global pandemic is a pretty extraordinary event. All markets are going to react poorly. BTC is by its nature more volatile, so it has a tendency to experience more dramatic corrections It acts as a hedge, because the dollar gets devalued

Bitcoin is both an asset and an intermediary. I don't think it is a good intermediary due to its volatility and tax treatment, but it certainly has and can be used as such. If you had bought a hundred dollars worth of Bitcoin back in

Bitcoin has had several big moons/busts now, but the software and network has persisted and grown dramatically in size. The long term trend is up. I think it is really hard at this point to make the case that this is a bubble.

I think most people view Bitcoin as digital gold nowadays. (with the added benefit that the supply is known) I would not use it for short term cash needs, but from a long term store of value it has provided real benefit over a 10 year peri

Whatever anyone would do with $400bn worth of an asset? If Saudi Arabia started buying Bitcoin in bulk, then the price of Bitcoin would go up. This would create demand for the asset that is increasing in value and other people would start

Don't get me wrong, I love chess, but I really can't see the chess and video chat demographics overlapping much. I mean I think there is a reason why ICC never added such an option to their client.

Have you considered integrating with Keybase? I think the identity system of Keybase coupled with the secure mesh networking of Tailscale would be a really powerful combination.

As a Keepass(keepassxc on Ubuntu) user I recently switched to Strongbox from the now abandoned MiniKeePass, which I have been very happy with. It supports using FaceID with a Pin, which is great for quick access on my phone. Syncing with

I have wireguard setup for my home network and phone. Then I use Resilio Sync to perform the synchronization between my phone and my home network once wireguard is connected. Allows me to synchronize from anywhere securely.

I don't think Keybase is getting a fair shake in this post. The author is using the ChromeOS Android app. This seems like a fairly unusual setup, but maybe Chromebooks are more popular than I think? Plus the low amount of memory in

As a counter data point, I fairly enjoy alerts like these. Whether you like them or not is quite subjective. If it was a really serious distracted driving issue, then the entire billboard industry likely wouldn't exist.
