The differences are mainly: - Features (I'm a one man show) - The UI (I think mine is better organized) - Node Types (Jumproot has different and interesting node types)

Thanks for the feedback. To answer your question: To me, a mind map is a tool with which one can map his/her mind. I see some comments that claim that colourful and interesting graphics should be a part of that definition. I disagree.

I'm a fan of workflowy for sure. But I am not a fan of the UI.

I'm not sure I agree. The biggest reason is that I use this as a mind map very well. Jumproot is certainly visual, it's just not "cartoony". It's the cartoony aspect of mind-maps that limit their "size". T

I attempted this. I'm sure it's not water tight but it was successful at preventing me from giving away my usage data too easily. In brief: - a custom android ROM and NO gapps - no Google play services - f droid for apps - yalp st

Respectfully, I disagree. Notion and jumproot both have the philosophy of an arbitrary node structure used for composition. I prefer my ui, that's why I'm working on it. Thanks for your feedback though. No I haven't published

I've been working on a similar project more suited to my own tastes. It's free and online and in-progress. jumproot.com. Sure, it's self-promotion, but highly pertinent.
