This is probably the most unreadable Daring Fireball post I've ever read. I understand that Gruber is annoyed that people are expressing opinions that differ from his, but my mind can't do anything but picture him frothing at the mouth out

This looks awesome, but I'm sad that it requires android 4.x. I blame the phone manufacturer/carrier for never updating my phone (still stuck on 2.3)

If you're working with local storage, I highly recommend using the following library: http://amplifyjs.com/api/store/ It has a very simple interface and internally it has a bunch of fall-back storage mechanisms in case one isn't supported

I find it hilarious that you animated the B flipping between italics and normal

Also include the column headers in the sticky part so that you can see those as you scroll too :)

Cool site. I love the simple interface. From a UX perspective, the header should be sticky when you scroll. I was having fun looking at the "moods" and genres that get highlighted when you hover over a movie, but after I scroll down, I can

I want to know more about it also. It's weird, I tried going to the homepage and I just get redirected back to the linked wiki. It's almost like they don't want customers

The title is a bit misleading. He only earned $120 for fixing a wordpress configuration file.

I dislike using coffeescript mainly because the language is too flexible. Being able to optionally omit a ton of syntax has led to some annoying problems that aren't obvious at first glance. This ambiguity is exacerbated by the way java

I'm mostly curious regarding how you put sheets on this bed and still use it for its intended purpose.

It's not much of a rename, though. Lots of people call it Postgres anyways. Besides, most people don't know how to pronounce PostgreSQL anyways, whereas Postgres is easily pronounceable. I think it's a great decision.

The example should really be changed to reflect this. If it's not supposed to be for rendering a whole page, the example shouldn't be rendering a whole page.

I think this is an awesome idea. I've been thinking about doing this myself for a while now... I'm heavily leaning towards picking up the Samsung Note II phone so I can take notes quickly and always have them available

If that's true, I don't think you need to worry about people "stealing" your idea. Most people don't have the drive to stop what they're doing follow through with someone else's idea just because it sounds nice. My advice is to feel free t

This is one of the best resources I've found that highlights all the silly things about javascript. It doesn't treat you like a beginner, it's just information about gotchas http://bonsaiden.github.com/JavaScript-Garden/

Definitely have a minimum price set. $10 would probably be worthwhile, maybe even $20 as a minimum. I'm not going to waste my time for $1. $10 is pretty iffy also. Also like others said, I don't care about seeing expired bounties.

I wish you would write about some of these issues that you faced so we all can keep them in mind when using MongoDB in the future.
