Okay, so assuming things go well, what time period would need to pass before you reveal your true identity?

Okay, so, realistically, if the guy in the article wants a woman to be in the dark as to what his net worth is, he'd need to: 1. Use a fake name. 2. Create a fake story as to what he's been up to for the last five years profession

Wouldn't in that case making money be their passion? I can't relate to that either, but I think that this is common among successful entrepreneurs, often going all the way back to their childhoods (the guy in the article was buyin

I think you do have a point about him trying to buy what you are "supposed" to buy once you are wealthy. However, I think that your robot criticism of entrepreneurs is unfair. Street sweepers, cashiers at a grocery store, McDonald

I don't know if I'd be impressed if a guy did this. In theory, this sounds like a fairytale, an ordinary guy turns out to be a multi-millionaire. In practice, this means that he lied to my face the entire time, presumably got his

I was thinking about this as I read the story as well. I'm not familiar with the product at all, but I suspect it's hardly a "healthy" snack to begin with, and then Kellogg is not exactly a company dedicated to public he

It doesn't matter how hard you worked, what matters is the results you produced. For example, she talks about not understanding what "hard work" meant in college, but who cares? Did you get the grades you wanted? That's

Your post reminded me of lucid dreaming. We already have an in-built VR capability, it just takes a lot of effort to learn how to access it and use it, but once you do it's pretty crazy stuff.

I think most people struggle with holding themselves accountable. You are fortunate if you are an outlier in that regard.

I think you have a good point on external input noise. When you announce your plans to people close to you, such as family and friends and coworkers, you start getting input which is not necessarily useful even if their intentions are good.

I vaguely remember something about research showing that visualisation works well if you visualize both the positive outcome of achieving a goal and the negative outcome of not achieving it. Can't be bothered to look it up, though :D

It probably isn't, given that social media is intentionally designed to be addictive, while tinkering with things (code in your case) isn't.

I think that doing meaningful work is a privilege that is quite rare. Usually, the work that one is likely to find meaningful pays less, so there is a trade-off. This trade-off might not seem significant to a single person without any respo
