Looks like a nice tool. But I didn't understand the requirement. The README says that if I have a graph.svg and graph.txt in my directory, I can put as many graphs and start the web server. Still not getting the use of it.

Just to clarify, this video is sped up. But yea, I get the point.

`2,000 requests/second on a modest 8GB server` Are you kidding me ? How is this fast ?

Not really. If your table does not fit into memory, there is a good chance that a disk seek is required. Now all bets are off.

Believe me, I seriously would. But its just too costly. Dollars converted to our currency is just too much for an editor.

Haha, I think sound is not coming because soundcloud is overloaded due to this. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 429 (Too Many Requests) - https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/240717213/s

In my experience, it gets too complicated very quickly. Also you need to manage your machines where the jobs run. I am not aware of any good Jenkins as a cloud service.

Seems like a publicity stunt to me. The way he answered the question cannot be impromptu.

Thanks. That cleared up a lot of doubts for me. I was in 2 minds, trying to start app development with native android or react-native. I guess reading this thread makes me choose native android.

I feel 1 is a timing related issue. Which are extremely hard to get right, and might happen. 2 and 3 shouldn't have happened. But since they aren't releasing any further details. It would be unfair to rate the system.

I am no expert in css but let's say you have a title heading color and you want the button color to be the same as that. You need to specify it separately in 2 places right ?

I don't think that is OP's point here. Just because something works doesn't mean you should not improve it. You might get habituated with regular css. But things improve SO much when you use pre-processors.

I do not know much about trademark laws, but can you explain how having a npm package on another company's name infringing their trademark ? Just what level of detail can a company have trademarks on ?

Hold on, hold on. Let's say you have worked hard on a project that you were not paid for, totally out of love for software. And out of nowhere, a corporation threatens you to re-brand it else you are gonna face consequences, you are sa

You are right. But when you see how much memory Atom takes and compare that to how lightweight Sublime is, you might want to reconsider.

Lots of good suggestions here. I won't say anything new but just wanted to stress on the data ingestion part. DO NOT write to txt files and read them again. This is unnecessary disk IO and you will run into a lot of problems later on.

Just wanted to +1 that Headspace is a very good app for starters like me. Very useful is bringing a rhythm to things. And once you get the hang of it, you won't feel any external force to drive you in meditation.

Wow .. just wow. I am actually interested in 3D. What does it take to get to this level of expertise to create something like this ? I have just heard of shaders and all but no idea how to approach it. Any recommendations ?
