First thing I saw looking a the site. I was like "This is incredibly idiotic." I'll take a basic tailwind install for this use any day. Not it's not minimal but it is reliable and straightforward for prototyping..

I kinda wonder how much altitude factors into vertical climb performance and hover.

First thing I noticed. Modern Pro tablets advertise latency in the 20ms range, this looks like a few hundred ms.

They are stronger than they look. keep in mind that all joints in a lack have no cross brace so the leg-surface joint is actually pretty strong. The big thing is that a tight install of the legs and adding tension and mounting the hardware

> In theory, if TDD really reduces the number of bugs and speeds up development you would see if reflected in those higher level metrics that impact the customer. The issue is that many TDD diehards believe that bugs and delays are made

There's a fun 2 person Pong demo under examples, It's remarkably hard to play both halves of pong at the same time.

There is actually a second catch here. A Software locked 90>60 gets less range than a native 60kWh car for the exact reason why your binning example makes no sense here. Tesla is building the same packs and locking down the hardware via

I've seen the mix of VR and Ar called XR, or Extended Reality. That is what Quest Pro is.

Quest has black and white passthrough. Next-gen's model (Project Cambria) has full color pass-through cameras that supposedly feel realistic enough. Current passthrough is good enough that I can walk through my house headset-on.

Sorry yeah absolutely, I intended to frame it as they have effectively thrown out pretty much all of the Android UI/UX along with building an app store from scratch.

"Current price" Seemed to be purely invented to move units. The hardware margins had to be very large negative numbers. They were losing $2.5B/Quarter for the last two years. To put it in context, the specs of a base Quest 2

Bingo. Also I would note that it is incredibly not a zero-sum game. A person could dedicate their life to playing Video games, zex, drugs, charity, religion, science, the environment, etc. Spending time and money on science does not remove

The best choice would have been to curb climate change, yes...but we are materially beyond the point of no return now. We could maybe give one more generation a better life with cuts, but putting a team together to find answers to big quest

Is that actually materially different? Foundationally, if it was supposed to cost $10B and it was worth it and if it ended up costing 10B when it wasn't supposed to and was worth it, is that actually different? It's still a $10B

Yikes, no. Other way around in fact! Observable errors mean that there is an actual error and triggers error handling to the user. By saying, that for example, a search for a user in a list returns no results is a 4XX you are implying that

This is a whole lot of nice sounding theory but ultimately in practice this is just a downright mess to handle in a real application calling the API. If you are using the Angular httpClient for example, a 404 immediately throws an observabl

Yes and no. Battery life is much worse but when you go all in on next gen Mirrorless cameras there are gains that are just impossible otherwise in a DSLR. The thing that convinced me was using an A7RII 5 years ago in NYC at night. The simpl

Magsafe is not a 'this or that'. The other end of the magsafe cable is type C with a standard type C power adaptor. You can bring a Type C cable instead and it works just fine.

The X1's matte display is a tradeoff however in it's own way. You introduce grain and lose vibrance making it a worse display in any other use case. I would note that the 14 inch pro has some antiglare coating going on that actual

Air also lacks far more ports, MiniLED, 120Hz, the M1 Pro's GPU, 8GB of ram, and cooling. I would expect the M1 Pro's Ram to be faster as well. Finally the M1 Pro supports dual display out while the M2 does not. That $500 still go

Something about that test rubbed me the wrong way. Like that the Package was pulling more watts than stated or some sort of bad firmware allowing for extreme temps. It's so odd to come from the M1 with nearly unused fans to being able

The irony being that they then made the M1 Pro and M1 Max/Ultra that support more displays. In fact, I would be okay with it running dual displays like the mac mini where the internal display is disabled when two externals are connecte

Correct, but wring all of those can get confusing and adding a single psudoselector syntax for something is at least a few lines and figuring out how to organize css. Scss is definitely better for this but even then it's a bit nebulous
