I would recommend watching this video, where the same YouTuber is using FSD which takes an exit and needs intervention to avoid running directly into a divider. https://youtu.be/LbCGAN6Pk_c?t=2026

Waymos are NEVER "driven remotely". Occasionally there are problems of being stuck (at 0 mph) due to a lack of aggressiveness or the refusal to violate a rule, or being in a loop the car can't figure a way out of. Often time

Their cars currently produce an audible request to close the doors. In practice it doesn't happen often, I've never seen it happen in person. They also have support just minutes away usually. The Zeekr vehicle they're testi

No native Vulkan on macOS, right? I know of MoltenVK, but I have no idea how suitable it is.

As much as I agree with this article, it's not ready for everyone yet. If you're using nVidia, everything that uses xwayland is still a flickery mess. Explicit sync patches are looking good, but those patches are not in a release

Tabs are on top by for me on 6.0. Seems to be the default, unless my distro (Arch) changed the default.

That'd be nice, but we could also just make this hardware normal.

Waymo claims the dog was fully occluded by a parked car before it ran into the street, giving the vehicle and a safety driver at the wheel no time to react. Not sure why you're focusing on this event. They're talking about miles

I'm using it full-time and the only issues I experience are with XWayland. But even those have been going away as native Wayland support lands in apps and nVidia slowly improves their drivers. Scaling and overall performance it's

Teslas have no redundancy for their sensors and depend upon unreliable GPS. They have some level of redundant processing, but I've seen FSD disengage because of software faults without anything taking over. They should never be allow

I would assume by using the Uber app you'd be missing numerous features that only the Waymo app can offer. Stops with trip resume, precise pickup and dropoff locations, being able to change destination enroute, etc.

Does MySQL have temporal? I thought only MariaDB implemented this. https://mariadb.com/kb/en/temporal-tables/ A quick Google turns up nothing for MySQL temporal.

Wayland sounds a bit like what Vulkan is to OpenGL? Am I anywhere close? I'm a novice when it comes to the implementation of compositors and display servers, but as a user it's been a far better experience than X11/Xorg ever

Is it meant to be? The appeal of Markdown is that it's easy to remember, reasonably friendly to non-technical people, and it looks good as plain text.

I played 20q three times with GPT4. Aluminum can, plastic straw, and tire pressure gauge were my items. It had no problems getting to the answers with sensible questions throughout.

Google Assistant answers all my calls from unknown numbers and asks them to state what they're calling about. It transcribes the text in real time for me, and if I don't answer it saves that conversation for me to review later.
