This is strange, I wonder why they are targeting this repo? I have labeled some issues 'hacktoberfest' and have gotten very well meaning contributions. Here is an example https://github.com/earthly/earthly&#x

I think this just flatmap / bind over lazy lists in languages that support it.

Noria looks very cool. A lot of engineering time is spent building by hand with kafka and microservices what Noria can seemly generate from a declarative create view statement. He also has some rust great live coding stuff on youtube.

Cool product! I wonder if there would be a way to extend it / use it with my own existing notes, which are all markdown in a folder in plaintext.

I have learned a lot from the creators Paul and Runar in that past. Their book on FP is legendary in some circles. Unison seems like a super ambitious undertaking, but I wouldn't bet against this team.

I like plain text backed in google drive. I use The Archive [0] but Notational Velocity [1] is popular as well. I don't have a bookmark system though. This book is an excellent explanation of a plain text knowledge base system [2]. [0

I enjoyed this talk, and accompanying transcript on defunctionalization. Despite the verbose name, the concept is quite simple and does come up a lot. http://www.pathsensitive.com/2019/07/the-best-refactoring-yo..

Hal Abelson thinks that javascript is Today's Scheme. That is is carrying the flame of the ideas of Scheme forward.

I did that interview! Interestingly enough, in it Hal said javascript was the inheritor of the scheme spirit. I worked through the book using #lang sicp in racket however.

I use zettelkasten The Archive and find it quite useful. Mainly mine is just a mess of random notes though

Jimmy's transcripts are great. I have been reading through his blog in preparation for a podcast interview and at first, I was a bit skeptical that a transcript could replace a talk but now I find I am liking the format.

yeah, a ranked ballot solves this problem. The concept of a condorcet winner, is that the winner would win head to head against all non-winners and various ranked ballot schemes pass this condorcet criterion.

I liked traction, with its focus on try all these things, one may get you to the next level, then try some others. Does this book take the same approach?
