I discovered the Garmin Instinct last year, and was very happy to switch to it from my Apple Watch.

Hard to read this with all the ads cluttered in. Ironically, Safari would render this cleanly with 1 click.

Ah a Naggum re-discovery. See a yearly index here: https://www.xach.com/naggum/articles/ I went through the whole thing a few years ago, there are some gems hidden in there.

Interesting that this is Clojure :-) Clojure + TS seems to be a good way to go, without being hung up on CLJS.

This is something RoamResearch is squarely a good fit for. It's very useful for personal capture (with digressions etc) but also handles the "multi-player" case if needed.

One of those "I wonder what it'd be like if someone made that", and then someone _does_ make that, kudos! Also, `defile` is a great name for a macro :-)

IMO posts like this contribute to the impression of _all_ fountain pens being "expensive, fancy things". I have a Lamy Safari that has lasted 12 years (and counting) I have a TWSBI Eco that has lasted 9 years (ditto) You have a LO

IMO making "a new Wordpress" doesn't feel like a great alternative -- Wordpress is pretty good as it is, and you have the option of self-hosting fairly painlessly if you want to. The fun of late-90s website-making is real tho

I empathize with the writer, and as someone who read LOTR a couple decades ago now (yikes) I agree that this show (and to some extent even "The Hobbit") didn't _feel like Tolkein_. I think he nails part of why, but in general

Dunno, I feel some form of cursive writing is just a natural human thing to do. I was all for "maximum personal cyborg-ness" at an earlier stage of life, but I now feel the urge to be away from the screen+keyboard for some time, a

Jetpens is where I first bought a Lamy Safari 10 years ago, and it still works perfectly. Highly recommend Jetpens for pens, ink, paper and more (and the Lamy is a great first fountain pen).

Eh, punishing individuals like this seems pointless, especially _after_ they've made their personal stance clear. Or at least, it doesn't "advance the game of chess", which is what organizers should care more about. Ther
