I'd like to see Apple run some opt-in scientific trials. For example: Does active noise cancellation result in more or less hearing loss? Or Alcohol consumption: Apple Health could ask each day how many drinks you had and many people w

It often comes down to enforcement. Cellphone debt is near impossible to collect, I believe statute of limitations is only 2 years in many states. The contract is likely near worthless if sent to collections.

Imagine if they gave passengers the option of food or $20 cash. This would be a much more clever marketing tactic and would avoid all the negative headlines, I'm surprised none of the budget airlines have thought of it.

It seems that blocking wields way too much power in that case. It explains some of the behavior on reddit. You can use it as a way to evict people from the discussion.

The fact that humans are averse to change is a strong reason not to sleep on it. Choosing status-quo has a gravity to it, and often the longer you wait the stronger the pull.

I believe the original plan was a Falcon Heavy carrying a Dragon equipped for propulsive landing. I believe they were actually going to use propulsive landing instead of parachutes even for return to earth. That probably is eventually the

It is ridiculous that phones are still locked. Customers are on the hook for the full cost and equipment is now treated as a loan directly to the customer. Makes no sense for carriers to hold the keys.

I think the issue is that government needs help from the non-profits to get things like this approved. A strong marketing effort. And the non-profits only agree to put their weight behind it if they get a significant benefit. Thus there&#

It's quite foolish to risk a nuclear war to prevent a country from taking territory they literally had less than 20 years ago. Everyone is now worse off because the land is filled with mines and thousands have been killed. China and R
