Another thing I hoped they would have dropped from Blu-Ray is the minutes of unskippable content. I've already paid for the disc and now I have to sit through minutes of advertisements? It infuriates me even writing about it.

What about just not caring whether you hurt someone's trivial feelings? That is becoming an important feeling in this ever-connected world.

I have no experience with Android yet, so I won't vote, but I can say that if it ever becomes impossible to jailbreak an iPhone I will ditch it immediately.

You're right: they don't do conventional advertising anymore. Here's a blog about their strategy: http://taptaptap.com/blog/kill-yr-ads-the-donts-of-iphone-ap... Also, look at those Daring Fireball prices in that blog post! I'm jealous.

More-or-less. I test drove Chrome for about a month but I cannot live without NoScript support. Besides that I find the browsers to be about equal for what I use them for. This was about 6 months ago. note: I did try NotScripts for Chrom

I wish Google was a little more involved. The competition could've used some resources or funding last time. The format has a lot of potential since any language[1] can be used as long as you can get it to run on Ubuntu 10.something and m
