For anyone living outside The Valley, looking to break in and get a job on the inside, this is how it's done. Show people what you can do - your work is your resume. Mikito, I'm sure you're sorting through a bunch of potential internships

Love the new concept. My mom gets frustrated that the Groupon deals aren't truly "local", and that makes her want to unsubscribe. You guys are in a great position to solve this. Congrats Lloyd, Jason & Jeremy.

The best way to get their attention is to build something in Python that they would be interested in. For example, do they have an API? If so, build off their API. Make a cool related service. Make a microsite. Develop a prototype of so

Not only was Daniel (and his co-founder Shai) the youngest in our YC batch, but they built and launched a couple of different startup ideas in the time that the rest of us built a couple of features. Daniel easily could've packed it up when

If there's one thing that YC companies are always looking for, it's a designer. If you're a designer, this is a pretty sweet opportunity to work with, or even join, a YC co.

Free has no strings attached. If you don't like the feedback, don't use it. Nothing to lose.

William gave me some good feedback the other day on our app description for the App Store. An extra set of copywriting eyes is always nice, especially when it's free.
