Supported side-loading is a thing on Android since day one? What innovation came out of this? Thousands of rip-off apps, all sort of malware pushed upon clueless users? I know, that some of those things are still a problem on iOS, but just

Raw number of developers doesn't matter at all. The ratio of offers to developers out there determines how easy the hiring actually is. I've tried to hire some quality PHP developers and it's as hard as Ruby/Python if no

I became quite proficient in those types of interviews just by doing really small amount of exercises. No need to grind for countless hours. If you get an async automatic test you can always google your solution easily. You need to be profi

I am guessing that AppleTV traffic is very low compared to Netflix or YouTube. Anyway I guess this setup must be super complicated. Apple is probably partnering with tons of entities to provide this all over the world. It must be a huge cha

I've never heard that IPS (not the content provider) is throttling down Video Quality by altering the traffic. Do you have some links to back up that claim? This doesn't make much sense, as they would have to download the high qua

There is a solid, technical problem with VPN usage on such a massive scale. Carriers, like T-Mobile, can arrange traffic exchange with big content providers. Majority of traffic generated goes to a handful of providers, like YouTube, Netfli

I’ve seen those posted in job boards across EU. Do you have separate roles for EU, or did those requirements changed in the meantime?

I've used build-in browser for years, but I highly recommend switching to https://github.com/junegunn/fzf for C-r in shell. Night and day boost.

I once had to argue that we still do need backup even though S3 has redundancy. They laughed when I mentioned a possible lock-up from AWS (even due to a mistake or whatever). I asked what if we delete data from app by mistake? They told me

Having a way to ping things or draw on screen is super useful even if everyone uses their own environment. No more "no, not this line, the 4-th one from top, well now its on bottom, wait don't scroll".

Funny thing is, this is a pairing app. It's actually better if it gets out of the way. But I agree, that thumbnail with both screen and speaker would be better. I think something with more on content on screen than just a dropdown from

You love Django, I get it. You wrote it its better than Rails in various aspects without actually having a clue about Rails. Thats neither professional nor informative.

Django I knew had pretty weak testing tools compared to Ruby/Rails mostly because the culture was no there. It was way harder to find a Rails App with had little to no tests. Quite a contrary in Django world. Rails is a Web Framework.

I hope more countries will make this activity illegal. This is a zero sum game. Wasting energy makes it more expensive. If this madness will go on, everyone will have to pay for it.

Some 25 years ago I've read some funny Windows vs Linux arguments. "Windows is better because there is tons of software (Windows 95) and Windows is better, because it is very stable mature system, with Unix-based kernel (NT)"
