FWIW I had fraudulent debit charges credited to my account the next day while under investigation. Though the experience was enough to pretty much stop using debit cards except for specific accounts that are not my primary.

Some of these seem to be low-hanging fruit though, like NEWSEQUENTIALID() for example. Would be great to see which are likely to be implemented versus requiring major changes in pgsql to work.

Serum is such a wonderful and visual, intuitive synthesizer. There is also a free one, Vital, which is comparable, but Serum still is one of the most popular and versatile ones around for a reason. Visualizing the waveforms was such a break

I think WASAPI has comparable latency to ASIO drivers. I can get around 20-30ms latency with WASAPI though ASIO takes me down to 10-15. Granted I'm using a dedicated USB audio interface though.

simdjson is an awesome project. However, it's analogous to a SAX parser for XML vs a DOM model. If that is all you need (or if you are building something like a DOM yourself) then it is pretty much impossible to beat. Having an entire

You can provide alternative collections if needed by templating basic_json; std::map is just a default. Personally I like using a flat_map which is an ordered map built on top of a vector, which provides nice cache locality and is generally

Things like the Real ID Act seem to be as close as we can get without constitutional changes. Something like the above could potentially be implemented like that, but still would not be as widespread as an SSN.
