Especially as many people, like myself, are questioning donating to Mozilla at all after these recent changes. While i like FFs existence, Mozilla is being disassociated with FF - to me at least.

The irony of so many anti-service people is that most of them turn around and hate big corporations just as much. It's like they envision a Comcast-esque corporation taking over USPS, but forget that they hate Comcast. Disliking corpor

Yea but your critique-reply is to that of an explanation on why people are thinking illogically here. Of which, your reply seems unsound. Ie, people seem to be thinking illogically here but your comment seems to counter their illogical stan

Currently. Though Mozilla is giving no clear plans on continuing the projects importance. If anything it seems Mozilla is planning for an eventual sunset. Hoping to have revenue alternatives for when Firefox is irrelevant and they stop supp

Many people consider that synonymous. Hell, if anything i tend to consider corporate speak to be even more damning than a lie.

This sounds interesting - but how are people setting this up? I don't think i'd be able to use this out of the box, since i don't have a stand for my phone to position it like a webcam.

I'd want to - or rather, the idea of managing a series of applications in a distributed fashion is interesting to me. HOWEVER, i like to write distributed software that i want "uninformed" users to run. Aka not run on nice, a

This is actually sad - because i have limited use for either of those products. I likely want the VPN, but the value of having it on my phone is minimal to me. So while i think i will get the VPN, Pocket on the otherhand... is just meh to m

What i don't get is why we should care about this (care as in, advocate for) . MITM is a great argument for distrusting the everyone in the middle, not trying to increase trust in the middle man - no? This just feels like an attempt t

How does the Vscode and Neovim thing work though? I've tried to implement something similar for Kakoune and Atom editor, but i noticed that Atom would always manage its own buffer, and Kakoune as well, so i'd have to basically dup

Gotcha. So it sounds like no immediate blockers for FTS with SQL, but that focused FTS solutions (Lucene/etc) typically offer greater flexibility than you would traditionally see with a SQL DB's FTS. Appreciate the thoughts, thank
