Ah, yeah, finally got your "capable of generating itself" idea. Pretty cool, interesting to experiment on it. I guess it would be something like a site that downloads itself also.

I believe you misunderstand, I'd rather distance myself from the NodeJs ecosystem and use standard UNIX tools for developing web sites. I believe sh is great as a templating language.

What do you suggest for templating?

Any headless CMS would work well my `mkws`, my idea is to build a smaller, simpler Wordpress that also comes with a tiny webserver, 0 config, no database, content stored as plain text files, just download and run. https://getkirb

Web site building complexity, for now I started with a simple static site generator https://mkws.sh/ . Right now, I'm not using any package manager, no config files, only one language for templates (sh), and obviously H

I agree that "No class names" may me interpreted as "you're not allowed to use classes" but the main idea is to have a CSS file that is very loosely coupled with your HTML that you can just drop in your project and

Shameless plug: If you're interested in quickly getting something online, you might also take a look at my static site generator https://mkws.sh/ .

I don't think the use of classes is forbidden in any way. This is a just a drop in css file to quickly style an HTML document, if you think it's a good idea to style some more, just add classes.
