I'm not normally one to promote Hollywood but the film Greyhound (2020) with Tom Hanks does an _excellent_ portrayal of this technology (albeit slightly more primitive) in fighting German U-Boats in WW2. Well worth a watch if this inte

Yes! I’m confused at what the automated attack was about. Possibly botnets tweeting it to distract from the real account access or to make the attack look worse than it was?

It's absolutely crazy. This doesn't look like just leaked keys - it looks like genuine, manual access to accounts (as well as automated). The whole system must be compromised. @kanye replied to the scam tweet with "Sent out o

I really like the unique approach of the annotated SQL files and can definitely see some use cases where it would be good to declutter the SQL from the code. For me personally, I'd be hesitant to add another build tool to my already bl

Interesting. It's a private document so it's hard to pull any stats out. I did manage to get the top ten companies (back of the napkin hack so take it with a pinch of salt): amazon | 13 thumbtack | 10 student | 8 wework

I love when my two favourite worlds intersect. Does anyone know of an electronic music news aggregator similar to Hacker News? I'm aware of some decent Subreddits but I still feel something is lacking.

Huh. Throwing promises to manage concurrency is kind of neat and scary (because it's new and different). I remember there was huge performance hit from functions containing `throw` statements in V8, has that been addressed (in V8 or in

This looks pretty slick, looking forward to giving it a shot. It’s nice to see Sublime get a bit of love too in the age of Atom and VS Code. The Snippets tab under the Sources section of the Dev Tools has worked well for me in the past too.
