this can be dangerous thinking. sticking with a project that has no momentum for a long time can be a huge waste of time. better to focus on finding momentum as quick as possible either in the current project or abandon and find new one.

I worked with Sal when we were both at Oracle. one thing i think is that what he's doing with khan academy ties directly to his strengths. he was very good at explaining and teaching, and liked analyzing data.

its a massive market. the problem is the targeting. how do you target ads appropriately? everyone wants the high CPM ads, but nobody knows how they will perform. and you have to do a separate mailing each time

yeah but costco generally gets very good deals in place; i've cross checked it numerous times. once groupon management catches wind of this it will be fixed; they can't afford the damage to their brand
