I don't know if XUL is better than HTML + CSS, I haven't used XUL. I have used XAML and Qt, and the Android Layout Manager. and they are way easier to deal with. In HTML, a button is not a button, it's a DIV with an CSS prope

The fact that any rejection is 'valid' or that there is a process for rejections to begin with, is absurd. iOS is NOT developer friendly. I wish iOS didn't have the market share it has, it is so depressing: you either are und

I believe they refer to the 'make package' support. It builds a .deb (for Ubuntu) or a .rpm (for CentOS). The code itself seems very Linux generic.

This! I feel your pain. I'm on the same boat, trying to support mobile HTML5 on Android. To be fair, iOS has it's own issues with HTML5 development.

my main issue with Android fragmentation is trying to support HTML5 Apps with PhoneGap/Cordova and various JS toolkits (Sencha Touch, JQueryMobile, Dojo). Each version(4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3) has a slightly different version of the default

Thanks for your quick reply Miguel, I do understand the difficulties of supporting the Linux ecosystem. I hope that someday it becomes worthwhile for Xamarin to provide that support, in the meantime, another laptop or a VM will have to do.
