I think it is around that. I remember being startled hearing it. https://scispace.com/pdf/how-common-is-men-s-self-reported-s... Ghastly.

No it would not. Meta is an advertising company that sells ad space. More specifically, Meta is the dominant firm in the social advertising market which is an oligopoly. It is "the business", not an imagined side revenue stream.

Super interesting. Any examples in the wild of any state of the art models responding to this?

Text in, text out. It's all a bunch of prompts. Use the APIs directly and avoid as many abstraction layers as possible. Everybody is figuring it out all at the same time.

"We recruited 354 US-based participants from the online research platform Prolific and paid them $2.60 for participation (our study took approximately 13 minutes to complete)." Nah I'm good on this one. Gotta go back to Claud

An important distinction that might not be understood from scanning the headline is that "too dangerous to release" is more specifically stated as "too dangerous to open-source the full model weights", which they ended u

Opus 4, with enough context, could do most all I wanted in a single shot. More often than not, when I had a bad outcome and was frustrated I would realize that I was the problem (in giving improper direction or missing key context). I also

Opus 4 & 4.1 are still on Vertex+Bedrock @ $75/1mm out. They were used very heavily and in my subjective opinion are better than 4.5 and 4.6.

Yes that's why I said API price. I once used the API like I use my subscription and it was an eye watering bill. More than that 2 year price in... a very short amount of time. With no automations/openclaw.

If one is to believe the API prices are reasonable representation of non subsidized "real world pricing" (with model training being the big exception), then the models are getting cheaper over time. GPT 4.5 was $150.00 / 1M t

I must admit, the fact that the writing was well formatted and structured was an instant turn off. I did find it insightful. I would have been more willing to read it if it was one lower case run on line with typos one would expect from a p

The grammar doesn't matter. It's a total waste of time. Obviously not when writing to another human, when then it's a show of respect.

Think any platform becomes terrible over time once it hits a certain level of mass appeal. I loved Reddit and Quora in 2010.

I think it will, in the modern AI slop era, look more legitimate when the web UI looks a) hand rolled and b) like not much time was spent on it at all. Which makes me a tad embarassed as someone who used to sell fancy websites for a living.
