An annual release cycle isn’t for people who bought the phone last year. It’s for people who bought their phones 2 or 3 years (or even more) ago. The question is how does this phone compare to the Pixel Pro 6 or 5, not how it compares the 7

“Free” markets are extremely efficient at what they’re intended to do. Which is finding a fair price for a goods/service. But there are MANY nuances: 1. Are you making sure everything you value is being priced in? For example, a free m

The GMail iOS app is completely unusable for me. I simply cannot figure out how to read a thread with it. Ive reached the point where I’ve started using the Apple Mail app instead (yech). Also, why is it so hard to forward/reply all?

That’s not how much research works. You never have data at the outset. You have to have anecdotal information and/or sometimes even just an unfounded hypothesis before you can collect useful data to prove/disprove the hypothesis.

Nope, it’s because even if you don’t believe it’s true, management has decided that people colocated together physically do a better job than those who are not. And even if you believe that’s a complete fiction, it’s a fiction which has sus

There’s an interesting case study here. Most Indian pop music comes from movies so nearly every popular song comes with a music video at no cost. It would be interesting to see what the breakdown of people who watch the music videos vs only

“Gatekeeping concerts” - What exactly is this supposed to mean? Are we not supposed to post our thoughts on the internet anymore? And maybe there’s an argument to go gentle on a small upstart effort but this is a billion dollar stadium.

This is not the same as common core. Common core for the most part was pretty well designed AFAICT and was grounded in real pedagogy. Like you point out, common core was focused more on understanding concepts as opposed to reaching answers.
