The difference here is the "intelligence" of an AI can be described as a loss function, so if an AI can build and then train another AI which can achieve a better overall score from many examples in its loss function, then that AI

Well I think it's because people understand what happens when a dam fails vs when nuclear fails its all this horrible radiation that goes out, or other mysterious and harmful effects.

I agree with this article on many points. I wish GitHub had a way to remove the "forked from" link in order to give more freedom to developers that want to take a project in a different direction, and properly "exit"

I would suggest that computers don't necessarily make your life better, but following value does, and using computers in certain ways necessary follows added value.

Machine learning works by writing a framework for a computer to learn, then throwing tons of examples at the algorithm. The base may be created by humans, but the creativity actually comes from within the algorithm itself.
