Running it locally. Looking forward to switching our K8s cluster to 18.03. Contact me if you want to work with NixOS and K8s in Denmark/Copenhagen. Mail on profile page.

Why did you pick Swarm for production? We followed Swarm from the beginning, but after a few releases at v0.4 it was clear not to ever use Swarm, and that it mostly was the Docker PR machine that made it sound nice, and not the actual featu

It's supposed to average 50Hz over time, so using it for clocks make perfect sense.

Can anybody shed some light on the practical implications of this change? Does this in any way affect organisations who are using K8s?

And still likely to be awful in one way or the other. I got one of Samsung's top model TV's back in 2013, and after a year (or so) some update caused it to start crashing randomly, no matter the input source (and daily with the Ne

I find it really convenient to run the same OS on my laptop, as on the servers I administrate. Others probably feel the same, and I suspect that was the GP's point as well. :) Also, almost nobody care about Unix certification. Linux is

Then you just move the routing problem to your gateway/router, and it'll end up exploding because of too many routes in the table (one per container), instead of only one per container host. Or maybe I'm wrong. :)

These performance figures cited in the article are utterly meaningless: 12 billion transactions a day and 1000 NoSQL databases. What does that even mean? I'm sure even modest x86 hardware can spin up 1000 MongoDB instances, and perform

CS and Peter Madsen split up ages ago, and have been working on separate rockets ever since. So no, this isn't in any way related to Copenhagen Suborbitals.

You just described how reverse proxies work, just by using ports instead of the host-header to choose the correct backend.

Huawei's EMUI can do this. You can enable and disable WiFi, cellular data and even roaming on a per app basis as well. So at least Huawei did something good with their own UI.

The name "Bunker" also suggest that the developers are German nazis, since German nazis built a large amount of bunkers in Europe during WW2. .. so probably not a good name either, at least not in Europe. ;-)

The plot is weird: The title of the plot ("Isens alder (år )") literally means "age of the ice (years)", so the x-axis should probably have gone from 0 (being year 2016) to 116 (being year 1900), which would sorta have m

In practice a lot of libraries don't support promises, so in my experience you'll just end up with a codebase with callbacks and promises mixed. Not very pretty.
