After working 8 hours, I end up avoiding working on my website. Instead I end up playing wow or watching TV. I long for school to start so I have more free time.

I've been know to access http://m.facebook.com on my phone using Opera Mini. This is typically during class or while in a car, but according to this article I am in the minority. I think that the iPhone will help this adoption, as users n

For me personally, it's less about meeting random people through Facebook and more about getting to know people I randomly meet in real life. For instance, if I meet someone (hopefully a cute girl) at a party, then using Facebook I can str

This is almost exactly what happened in a Brazilian company called Semco. Ricardo Semler discusses it in his book "Maverick!" about how they developed a completely new corporate culture. Great book and I highly recommend it.

I didn't realize this until I read "On Writing" by Stephen King ( http://www.amazon.com/Writing-Stephen-King/dp/0743455967/ ). An excellent book about the writing process, and even though he talks about writing fiction, it applies to any wr

I'm currently researching Python with Django as the web framework. Coming from a decent size website in RoR, Django is looking quite promising. I'd love to hear what people's experiences are using Django.

I absolutely loved this book, it gave incredible insight into successful entrepreneurs. A recommended read for everyone on YC.news (Although I'm sure you knew that already).

Your last comment reminds me of what my high school wrestling coach used to say. To paraphrase: Focus on the things you can control. Don't worry about what someone else is doing, just do what you need to do.

I agree, when I purchase something I look at what other people have complained about. If enough people complain about a particular problem, then I'll evaluate if I think it would bother me.

I think the part about the iPhone is a bit convoluted. The author wraps up the phone and the service, which are not the same thing. A more accurate comparison would be the difference in the price of the iPhone service vs. previous service.
