Aren't all those tracking systems mostly ground based. But Saudi Arabia and its neighbors do provide proximity to Iran so I guess they should be able to catch it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. But others are saying it is possible to track missiles with systems other countries have. So, hopefully we will have some answer.

It would kind of make sense as after launching missiles on US bases they would have put their air defense systems on high alert causing someone to panic and assuming a retaliatory attack. Similar thing happened in Feb 2019 when Indian Air F

Btw, @dang. It would be better if we change the title to say Boeing 737-800 just to emphasise this is a different plane than Max.

Does anyone remember how much time it took to nail down the cause of MH17 crash? If memory serves me right, during the MH17 shoot down over Ukraine it was established quite early that it was a work of a surface to air missile launched by re

Is this primarily because of coal for power generation? That seems too high even in that case. It looks bad in the US North East which is densely populated so I guess it could be vehicular pollution as well. Are those where the coal based p

That is an interesting take on it but if you had a source to warm you up, why wouldn't you use the source for frostbite as well.

Propogating false health claims doesn't help people either. I can claim that good old whisky is the cure for cold if you are mountaineering in extreme climates, but it certainly isn't going to help anyone.

Ginger is actually considered as a medicinal herb and is an active ingredient in many traditional medicines across Asia. I think in South Asia ginger tea is considered a very good beverage for relief if you have common cold.

I joined a startup right out of school, I wouldn't do it any other way even now but the picture he paints is far from reality for most. I learned a lot, had a lot of ownership and was involved with the product from a user level itself

Yeah, ideally they should be classified as forwards. Though I guess Salah being the furthest forward is more because of Firmino being a False 9 rather than a proper No 9, which makes his case for being considered as a FWD even more valid.

Wow, I did not know this. They have special cameras in the grounds or this is just them having access to raw feed from all regular broadcasting cameras. I would love to read up on how this is recorded, processed and kept if you have any sou

Although he plays in a wide forward/winger like position for Liverpool they classify wingers generally as midfielders. Think of this in terms of the classic 4-2-3-1 position(not something LIV uses a lot). Firmino generally becomes the

It is interesting to see his choices. - Picking Salah and making him captain makes sense because of his form uptick and the opposition being someone he scores against. - So did keeping Leicester and Sheffield players, though he was unlucky

I doubt it is. Opta is probably what most publications and broadcasters use as well. I don't think there is anyone else who collects stats that deep across so many leagues. Sometimes even I am surprised the details of those stats, like

Not really. The n is huge, there is an enormous difference between an exponential complexity like O(2^n). Many algorithms are O(N^2) and are perfect for their use case. To see the difference. - 100^2 -> 10^4, 2^100 -> 10^10 - 10

I think he meant use ISRO's operations to send NASA's probes, rovers, satellites etc. for missions like these. NASA still gets to study and conduct experiments at a lower cost.

Without even going into the merits of Spotify's playlists as you mentioned, one reason I would personally prefer Spotify over Apple Music even if we assume rest of the things equal would be to support a small player(compared to Apple).
