You are arguing a point I didn’t make. I think it would be great if we build standards for consuming media and content like mind maps and charts - I just don’t want to be forced to open up to running any arbitrary code to be able to consume

There are some big improvements in .net 5 that allow more granular linking and should help reduce solitary binary size, and that may trickle down to Mono and Wasm soon.

There are so many issues with GitHub that could be easily addressed if open sourced. So many in fact that there are entire unofficial GitHub repos dedicated to raising issues about GitHub. They won’t see any benefit now that they are owned

When someone uses overtly racist language and is making a blatantly ignorant statement, then I don’t think I need to give details other than to try to prevent others from reading it.

This looks amazing, thanks. My question still stands, though, as it would be incredible to have a good notepad and monitor solution in one.

Can the remarkable tablet (or 2nd gen) be used as a epaper monitor? I would love to be able to code on an epaper screen, even if only in a simple text editor with minimal visual change/animation.

You are not the odd man out, I have also seen this multiple times and had the same reaction. There is always a deeper level to explore, but good teaching both provides enlightenment and hints on where to look further.

My windows laptop runs the LTSC edition (likely in violation of the licensing terms) which is meant for super strict environments like ATM and POS machines. It does not get user experience updates and comes extremely barebones - but to me i

Microsoft made their consumer OS basically “free” and in doing so loaded it with so much telemetry, data collection, bloatware, and dark patterns, that it is unusable without significant and ongoing intervention. So, no, I would not want th
