It's not perfect, but Edge will let one take a simple full page screenshot with Ctrl+Shift+S. It results in a hefty PNG but at least it's a visual copy of everything which might suffice for a certain set of purposes (e.g. links wi

Unfortunately it's not super easy to get data out of Discord either. Last I checked, one needs to carefully setup a bot then script the bot to download messages to CSV, etc., but if you're not careful with the account and bot setu

It's a beautiful set, I like how each side was translated to smooth/rippled and the textures are very pleasing to look at - like a miniature playable cast of desert characters. I agree the pieces are a bit difficult to distinguish

I've had great success with quantized Phi-4 12B and Ollama so far. It's as fast as Llama 3.1 8B but the results have been (subjectively) higher quality. I copy/pasted some past requests into Phi-4 and found the answers were g

Excellent write up! I have an older ThinkPad 760E (1995) that these notes could be really helpful for, since the hardware is fairly similar. I had pretty good success with OpenBSD but haven't tried NetBSD yet. > The most viable play

I've started to get spam via iMessage lately which I assume avoids most automated scrutiny that may apply to bulk SMS. Usually in the form of "your UPS/USPS package address needs to be verified" or something. My iMessage

This is neat! It reminded me of this project by cheeaun that enables one to create a visual timeline based on a simple texted based format. The purpose was to plot one's life events in a visual way. https://github.com/c

I can think of a couple reasons: - Switches frequently offer PoE by default whereas routers (especially consumer or PC-grade stuff) would need a PoE adapter - Devices connected to the switch can communicate directly without the router, savi
