Great article, moves well from problem spotting, to a systematic way of identifying the culprits, then explains why it's happening, then explains the fix (with potential caveats). Simple way of putting it but lacking in so many technic

I like to follow 3 simple rules. - Don't phrase your feedback in such a way that you wouldn't feel comfortable saying to this person's face, or have read out in court. In other words, be professional. - Mark each piece of fee

Personally, I don't think it's fair to lump their attitude in with the 1 year 10x developers. I've met developers with this attitude, they power through work and are out the door on the clock, but they don't work over 40

If your application is *nix based, then running a system with Docker at it's core could be an option. Some folks have a staging domain for their application, then use the SHA/tag of a release in a subdomain, and route based on sub

I think you're misinterpreting the use of "high level" here. It's not that the candidate needs "a high level of understanding", it's that they need "a high level understanding". "High"

I think you're simplifying too much in order to make a point. And I've no doubt your point is valid in a lot of cases. However, this idea of a template rendered on the server and then the same template on the client is often fraug
